Last night I went to see the Sondheim musical Assassins in the Project Arts Centre. You wouldn't expect the long and varied history of American Presidential Assassinations (and attempts) to provide the most obvious subject matter for an all-singing all-dancing musical; but it's actually brilliant ... I was there partly because I'd interviewed one of the cast for This Greedy Pig (you can see the full article here), but I'd definitely recommend it to a friend in real life too!
