One of the things I love about being from the New Forest, is the wonderful amount of Ponies, Cows, Donkeys (and occasionally, Pigs) wandering around the place. The best place for Donkey spotting is Beaulieu - they seem to enjoy wandering around the main street, stealing Ice Creams from tourists, controlling traffic speed, and going to 'Mrs Norris's Shop' for mood rings and fortune fish (well that's what I always chose to buy anyway!).
Most of them look like they've been through the washing machine too many times.
