Via: Pepper and Salt
I was reading an article about Kurt Vonnegut (Writer of 'Slaughterhouse-Five') in The Sunday Times last weekend ... the main things I got from it were A) He was an incredible man, and B) We should all write more letters. Last week I got a postcard from Amsterdam from someone who was only there for a few hours for a meeting: it was excellent. I don't think the brevity of a visit should ever lessen the necessity of sending postcards any time you go somewhere new!
