When I was home last weekend I got my first ever real manicure in a nail bar (the only one I'd had before was free with a cocktail!) in honour of my sister's wedding. I have to admit, they did look really cool (bright red and super shiny) and lasted much longer than normal. Plus I felt like we were in Sex and the City or something, all sitting in a row! However, I think I'll go back to my DIY attempts now the varnish is chipping off - goodbye non-smudged nails; you've been great!
